Ekundayo is a African name which means " Sorrow Becomes Joy". Our prayers goes out to each one of you that God's unmerited favor be upon your lives that you will not suffer anymore sorrows throughout life. Ekundayo Outreach Ministries is the vision that God has given us to minister unto those that feel lost, those that are sick, those that feel abandoned and those that feel heavily burdened by life problems. Ekundayo Outreach Ministries consists of Ekundayo Prison Ministry, Boot-Camp, Ekundayo Teen Mentoring Program and Ekundayo Street Ministry.

As our mission stament states our mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those in the community who are gone astray, broken hearted, and abandoned. Through hard work and dedication we will work with the community to minister unto the homeless, the hospitalized and those that are incarcerated. With God’s help we will nourish the mind, body and soul of each individual that we encounter. Our prayer is that God will lead us as we set off and accomplish his will.
Our Vision was given unto Jewel P Lewis co -founder through a dream. God showed her some things as well as giving he a key scripture to go with the vision Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised"

Ekundayo Ministries central vision is to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to those that are lost, to empower them to overcome any obstacles they will encounter on their journey. By the power of God’s love and anointing our vision is to inspire all lost souls to find God. By totally committing our time and hearts to God, we will demonstrate his love through worship, witnessing, and ministry. God Bless -James & Jewel P Lewis
